Lambert, 35, and McLoughlin, 27, will reportedly commute between Nashville, Tenn., and New York City instead of planting their roots down in one place.
Last week, the "Tin Man" singer announced she tied the knot with the NYPD officer.
The couple will move back and forth between Lambert's 400-acre Tennessee estate and the Big Apple for about a year, TMZ reported late Monday.
Sources told the site after that time, McLoughlin, who was recently promoted to sergeant, may leave the force or move to be with his new wife.
McLoughlin is assigned to the NYPD's Midtown South Precinct, which includes Times Square, where "GMA" films.
The Pistol Annies had a concert about a block away from the "GMA" studios later that night.
A friend of Lambert's gushed that McLoughlin's police work resonated with Lambert, whose father was a homicide-and-narcotics cop for the Dallas Police Department before launching a private detective agency with her mother.
“If you know Miranda’s dad and his background, you can guess why she’d easily connect with Brendan,” the pal said.
Sources told the site that the couple tied the knot on Jan. 26.
A rep for Lambert did not immediately return Fox News' request for comment.
